RECYCLED • REPURPOSED • REBORN
ReStrung is a new line of hand-crafted jewelry and artwork created with recycled guitar strings from some of the South's most talented musicians. At ReStrung - we believe in supporting artists, musicians and the creative spirit in everyone - and our unique handmade jewelry and art helps do just that! Each piece from the Restrung Collection is designed and created by hand using recycled guitar strings and a variety of materials, including semi-precious stones, vintage jewelry pieces and metals. Your purchase of Restrung not only encourages recycling - but also helps to support Louisiana's cultural economy, as a portion of our annual profits benefit The New Orleans Musicians Assistance Foundation, which supports The New Orleans Musicians Clinic!
In addition to our jewelry and art collections, we also take custom orders. ReStrung pieces make great gifts, so CONTACT US to create the perfect piece of handcrafted jewelry or artwork for that special someone!
Old Strings, New Things
At Restrung Jewelry, we really do believe in karma, and in the idea that everything in the universe is connected. Without getting too "new-agey," let's just say that we feel like it's in our best interest to be conscious about where are materials come from and how our profits are used. That being said - Restrung is committed to producing handcrafted jewelry that whenever possible - are made from materials that are recycled, ethically-sourced and/or eco-friendly. Read More...
Keeping NOLA Music Alive!
From the beginning, we wanted ReStrung© to be a force for good. We decided that a portion of our annual profits should benefit charitable organizations. We have started locally, and we currently donate 5% of our profits to The New Orleans Musicians Assistance Foundation, an organization that raises much needed funds for The New Orleans Musicians Clinic. We hope to expand our giving as ReStrung© grows in scope and size - and we invite you to give to NOMAF as well. You can learn more about these organizations by visiting their websites. Read More..
